Prince Caspian - movie review

By emiuccio47

Prince Caspian, the second installment in the Chronicles of Narnia films, is every bit as exciting and entertaining as its predecessor. The cinematography and CGI creatures do a fantastic job of transporting you back into Narnia, leaving you as breathless and thrilled as the Pevensie children themselves.

Admittedly, this film varies greatly from the book, but overall, the spirit of the story remains true. Newly created battle scenes and some interesting exchanges between the four Pevensies and Caspian are the largest contributors to the movie’s deviation.

Due to the intense combat, Prince Caspian’s PG rating seemed a little surprising. Although little blood and few death strokes were shown, the fact that they were happening as the camera flashed to a different perspective was undeniable.

Packed with dramatic fighting sequences and unforgettable characters, Disney’s Prince Caspian can hold its own among the other movie giants being released this summer. Don’t miss seeing it on the big screen!

Synopsis:
After waiting an endlessly long year, the four Pevensie children find themselves summoned back into the world of Narnia. However, the former kings and queens soon discover that much has changed in their beloved country. Cair Paravel lies in ruins, and the Narnians must live underground to survive. Realizing Narnia’s pending extinction, the children join forces with an exiled prince and other new characters, such as Trumpkin the dwarf and a feisty, rapier-welding mouse named Reepicheep. The drums of battle sound across the fields as one of the most epic battles in Narnian history begins.

WONDERFUL movie!
