Budget hearings scheduled
Loudoun County supervisors will hold two meetings next month to hear public input as they begin to hammer out details of next year's budget.
The first is scheduled for Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the board room of the county government center, 1 Harrison St. SE, Leesburg.
The second meeting will be Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the county schools administration building, 21000 Education Court, Ashburn.
Beginning Dec. 1 at 8:30 a.m., residents can register to speak by calling 703-777-0200 or 703-771-5072.
Supervisors are anticipating a $156.8 million budget shortfall next year.
