Stone Bridge volleyball event postponed
Due to the impending wind and rain of Tropical Storm Hanna, the Surbet Bulldog Classic scheduled for Sept. 6 at Stone Bridge High School has been postponed to Sept. 13.
The tournament will include volleyball squads from Loudoun County, Sherando and Westfield, as well as the host Bulldogs. The four teams will play three matches each, with the school achieving the best record receiving a trophy.
The festivities get underway at 11 a.m. with matches being held in the main and auxiliary gymnasiums. Admission for the event is $5, but seniors 63 and older gain entry for free.
