Hamilton Day this Saturday
Hometown celebration in the west
Hamilton Day gets off to a running start May 31 with the 5K run at 8 a.m. The youngsters join the fun for the Kids Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. Both races start at the corner of West Colonial and Reid Street.
The Hamilton Day Parade, complete with politicians, babies, decorated bikes and bedizened pets, starts at 11 a.m. at the Safety Center at the east end of town. Fun continues till 4 p.m. at the park – refreshments, food stands, firetrucks, moon bounces and more.
