Boots, trunks and autos: Dominion High School holds a boot sale and auto show at the school on May 10. The second annual “Titan T” Trunk Sale runs 8 a.m.-2 p.m., rain or shine. The event is modeled after a British car boot sale where vendors sell items from the trunk (or boot) of a car. Participants will get two parking spaces for $10. One space is for their car; the second space (behind or beside the car) is a display space. Additional space is available for an additional fee. Sellers may set up at 7 a.m. Admission is free for buyers.
Car show: The first annual DHS car show takes place in conjunction with the trunk sale, 9 a.m.-noon. The event is sponsored by DECA, the school’s marketing student club. The show features cars in four categories -- sporty, luxury, classic and student. Area residents can register their cars for the show by contacting the DHS marketing department at 571-434-4400 or sandra.tucker@loudoun.k12.va.us. The registration fee is $25; all proceeds go to Dominion High School to support student programs. Admission to the car show is free.
