New Weichert campaign

Weichert Realtors has introduced a new marketing campaign, American Dream Stories. The campaign will feature the stories of Weichert home buyers -- how they achieved their dream of homeownership for the first time or how they traded up to the home of their dreams.

The promotion is designed to share stories with prospective buyers to provide them with first-hand accounts on buying a home.

Read the home buyer stories at Weichert.com.

Text message notices

Home Quest, a New York City-based brokerage firm, has created a technology for home buyers to receive up-to-the-minute real estate market information delivered directly to their mobile phones.

Rather than meeting with a broker or sitting in front of a computer, this new text-messaging technology allows buyers to be alerted instantly to real estate market changes based on their home search needs. Buyers are able to view the newest real estate listings in real time as they come onto the market.

To access the technology, the buyer gets in contact with a Home Quest agent to initiate a search for a resident. The agent then inputs the search parameters and mobile contact information into the system. Buyers will start receiving alerts immediately.
