Bus tour of foreclosures

 

EXIT Realty Talbot and Co. and Chevy Chase Bank hosted a bus tour of foreclosed homes June 26 for first-time homebuyers and investors in Loudoun County.

The tour included a package with a summary of the homes scheduled, price ranges, features and locations. Home inspector Jocelyn Lasher of Chevy Chase Bank, Mortgage Division, provided financing advice, and Robert Goldman of Diamond Title answered legal questions.

Senior housing in Sterling

 

American Senior Housing LLC and Realtor Helen Flynn of Weichert Realty in Great Falls announced a grand opening of the Sugarland Hill Villas community in Sterling.

The townhome condominiums were designed for residents 55 and older. The design allows for functioning and sleeping exclusively on the main level if desired.

 

DAAR recognitions

 

Jerry G. Sardone, a real estate agent with Long and Foster and a member of the Dulles Area Association of Realtors, was approved for Realtor Emeritus status at the National Association of Realtors in May. The status is awarded to agents who have served the real estate industry for 40 cumulative years.

 

Web sites merge

 

RealtyTrac and Bid4Homes, Web sites featuring foreclosed properties, merged to make it easier for real estate agents and sellers to list homes for auction. RealtyTrac's property listings are now available on the Bid4Homes Web site.
