GWU offers free course on grants

 

George Washington University will offer a free course titled "Grant Seeking Basics and Introduction to the Foundation Directory Online" Dec. 11, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

The course is a hands-on introduction to the Foundation Center's comprehensive Web subscription databases of foundations and grants. The lesson will show how nonprofit organizations and others can create customized searches and develop lists of prospective donors that match their organizations' funding needs.

The class also includes a brief demonstration of new tools available through Foundation Directory Online Professional, a comprehensive database.

The class will take place at George Washington's Virginia Campus Library, 44983 Knoll Square, Suite 179, in Ashburn.
