Twilight farm tour, dinner

Chip and Susan Planck, full-time vegetable farmers at Wheatland Vegetable Farms since 1973, are hosting a twilight tour and dinner Sept. 11 at their farm on Route 287 north of Purcellville. The tour of the farm, and the Plancks' story of their venture into rural innovation – farm labor, direct marketing, ecological production of vegetables and small fruits, starts promptly at 5 p.m. Dinner featuring local products and meats follow.
