Gun story was even-handed

I'd like to thank Elizabeth Coe for a very refreshing, even-handed and fair article ['Gun owners show off their rights'] May 21 in the Times-Mirror.

It was good to see a story on a subject like this.

The article didn't have the usual slant with the journalist injecting a lot of their own opinion into the piece. Instead, specific quotes and numbers were provided to give the reader a more accurate idea of the thoughts and comments of those involved. (For example: "Out of 10 patrons interviewed for this story, only one expressed discomfort with the situation.")

The Loudoun Times-Mirror has my respect and thanks.
