One win away

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4 2007

Congrats to the Stone Bridge High School Bulldogs, now just one victory away from the Division 5 state football championship.

The county has never won a Virginia prep-sanctioned high school football title. Wouldn't it be nice if that drought was broken?

This weekend, look for our online coverage from Charlottesville by Times-Mirror Sports Editor Carl Lukat and LTM Staff Photojournalist AJ Maclean.

Stone Bridge (13-1) will face 13-0 Potomac on Saturday.

Win or lose this weekend, the Bulldogs and coach Mickey Thompson should be saluted on a fine season.
